Michele Keir
A professionally trained product and graphic designer (Pratt Institute and Rhode Island School of Design), Michele Keir began her career in the toy industry. Her original designs defined Hasbro’s iconic “Weeble Family” during their first two years of production. Now in retirement, Michele uses a variety of media for her own personal art therapy. Ms. Keir says her imagination is her place of comfort. Parkinson’s Disease has given her the time to pursue her passion. With her digital “Keir Art for PD/Sassy Nail Art Collection” she single-handedly raised $12,000 for APDA of Rhode Island in 2011. Michele continues to generously donate her work to events that raise money for organizations helping people with PD.
