Winter Storm

This painting was created totally from my imagination during a blizzard. I had prepared a canvas with textures and gessoed it. When I looked at the result, I began to see tree trunks and developed that image with acrylics. The day after I finished the painting I looked out into the wooded area behind my backyard and was shocked to see trees that looked like those in my painting.
