Carol McClenahan
Carol was diagnosed with parkinsons in 2010 and only recently began to write poetry. She credits Wayne Gilbert with encouraging her to express her frustrations and funny moments through writing. In addition to writing, she teaches Yoga, hacks at golf, plays piano badly, and is a fun Grandma.
Carol has been teaching Yoga for over 25 years. Her Yoga teacher training was enhanced through a number of excursions to India where she studied with various Hatha Yoga teachers. She has taught in the Dr. Dean Ornish Program for Reversing Heart Disease and has implemented the benefits of Yoga in other special needs settings. In 2006, she cofounded the Yoga in Sewickley studio and currently teaches both private and group classes in Pittsburgh and Bradenton areas.
