Carol Clupny
When Carol Clupny was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease at age 50, she took to the road, literally. Walking over 1000 miles on the ancient pilgrimage paths of the Camino de Santiago, and cycling across Iowa to raise money for Pedaling for Parkinson’s became great adventures to draw stories from. She wrote “the Ribbon of Road Ahead” after her Deep Brain Surgery in 2016. She is active as a support group facilitator, an Ambassador for the Davis Phinney Foundation and a motivational speaker. She and her husband Charlie live in rural eastern Oregon.
