Redeaux
This collage was done using the remnants of a Pour Painting, making it “a Pour Painting once removed”. Pour Paintings are done over trays. Once the acrylic paint dries, it has a solid, somewhat rubbery consistency that is easily peeled off the bottom of the tray. The pieces are then cut and placed on a canvas to form a collage. I feel as though I may have “invented” this particular art form to appease my kinesthetic nature. As a person with Parkinson’s, this art form is not impacted negatively by tremors or “off” times. It’s also a great way to reuse paint.
