Laura Olmos

Laura Olmos has lived with Parkinson’s Disease for 8 years, she is 48 years old and lives in Mexico. She has worked in both public and private institutions mostly in finance and budget areas, she has a Mayor in Business and MBA in Texas A&M International University. Laura serves as Párkinson’s Art Ambassador for Mexico and Latin America, promoting arts among other persons with PD.
 
She loves her family & friends and enjoys traveling, nature, painting, meditation and yoga. Laura is the founder of “Parkinson Laredo”, a Facebook group created to raise awareness and share information related to PD. She also volunteers in her community in activities including cancer fundraising and animal welfare.
 
She says that her best role in life is a mom to my two kids Mariana (22) and Alejandro (18).
