Jocelyn Burgener

Jocelyn Burgener was raised in Toronto and is a graduate of Ryerson University’s Radio and Television Arts program. She has lived in Calgary since 1976.

In Calgary, she served two terms as a Member of Alberta’s Legislative Assembly (1993-2001). In 2001, she established Segue Consulting, specializing in policy development. She served for over three years as Director of Public Affairs with the Calgary Chamber of Commerce.

Jocelyn was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 2003. In 2014, she published “Naked Under My Coat – Writing under the influence of Parkinson’s Disease,” a collection of poems and short stories. Jocelyn continues to work on writing stories today.
