Grace Heim
Marketing professional and Parkinson bad-ass, Grace Heim uses her creative side as a form of therapy. Writing, photography and dabbling in mixed media she uses sarcasm and irony tackle the tough days with PD.
Grace grew up on a farm in the buckle of the bible belt, then moved to Los Angeles, and later New Zealand before landing in Denmark.
Grace was diagnosed at age 37, had DBS on her 50th birthday. At age 56 Grace became the only person with Parkinson’s to be a certified Parkinson’s boxing instructor in Denmark. ‘’I was striving to be the Jane Fonda for the handicapped, but I will settle for badass’’, she says with a wink.
