The genesis of this piece was exploration. “I was really just exploring paint and lines and shapes and colors.” This process “then moved into what I call Earth Circles, where I lay in washes of watercolor and let that dry and then I go in with pens and just kind of follow where the paint leads me and make lines and shapes.” This piece led her to a 2nd place in a juried art show.
