Tree of Hope

I love to find items and adorn them with origami peace cranes. This metal piece is of a small tree that had many peace cranes on the branches resting before they fly to their next mission. The paper (which is difficult to see in a photo) is iridescent and changes color depending on the way you look at it. I was just accepted to come to the World Congress off of the wait list and created this piece specifically for the event.
