Tomorrow’s Another Day

Tomorrow’s another day,
Did I hear you say?
Will the next twenty four hours
Improve my condition?
Have you no cognition
Of this disease?
It will not ease
After a day, a week,
A year; I’m stuck with it
For a partner,
(I won’t say friend)
Parky doesn’t bend
To my instructions.
He assaults me every minute,
In every angle of my life.
He’s my closest companion now,
Pushing others away somehow.
It’s easy to see
Because tomorrow comes too quickly,
For Parkinson and me.
