I’m Nuclear Tonight

A new but somehow iconic shape springs up from a deep, textured background. The figure’s lack of contour lines suggest movement; its bright and strong colors, energy. Before Parkinson’s, WWS loved dancing, and this piece from her Movement series celebrates dance’s freedom of movement, fearlessness, and gracefulness. “That’s me, picturing myself at a time when I had all of that fluidity and color and vibrancy.”
