Marie Stelle Perry

Marie was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 2007 at the age of 45. At that time, she was an ESL teacher in Mexico and continued her career until 2019. In 2022, she underwent Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), which profoundly transformed her life. Following the surgery, Marie began taking piano lessons and painting. Each encounter with a canvas and brush serves as a reminder of the wonderful experiences that lie ahead. Her positive outlook and the unwavering support of her family are her greatest sources of strength.
