Writing allows me to be creative in communicating a relevant message or messages. I pondered for several years on whether or not to write this book, until an uncontrollable urge to write it overtook the reasons not to. I am passionate about the book and the message it communicates. The interpretation of the book’s content by thousands of readers is a hugely exciting proposition and I look forward to this immensely.
The vast majority of my working life has been in pharmaceutical and healthcare marketing; for this reason, I have a high level of understanding of the human body and how it works. In addition to this, my degree in Chemistry helped me to understand the language used in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector.
The main reason for me being the best person to write this book, is because I am in the best position to ‘bare my soul’ to the reader. This is a highly personal account of my – at times – crazy life, spiced up with having PD and therefore I am best placed to tell the story of how PD has affected my life and the lives of those who are or have been in my life.
