Tara Broderick

Tara was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2014. Post retirement from an executive role with Planned Parenthood, she pursued certification (through the Institute for Poetic Medicine) as a Poetic Medicine Practitioner. Tara believes in the healing power of poetry. She has facilitated a broad array of poem-making workshops in her hometown (Cleveland, Ohio), and also near her summer residence (Deer Isle, Maine). Tara lives with her husband and they are both enjoying the recent arrival of their first grandchild.
